Have you ever wanted to rub elbows with the smart set, sip champagne, sample fine hors d’oeuvres and organic caviar, listen to a famous Juno-award-winning musician up close and personal, in a setting that is to die for but, you didn’t have the $700 to spring for a pair of tickets? Here is your chance.
Thanks to a generous donation, The Richmond Sentinel and Arthritis Research Canada have two tickets for a lucky pair of people in Richmond.
To be eligible to win the tickets you will need to:
- be able to attend the 7 p.m. Arthritis Soirée on Thursday, May 17 at the Rooftop of the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver
-Like this story on The Richmond Sentinel’s Facebook page
-email your phone number and contact information to email@example.com
-pick up the tickets by noon on Tuesday, May 15
If you participate in the Soirée’s silent auction or make a donation to Arthritis Research Canada (ARC) every penny goes to vital research.
ARC is based in Richmond thanks to the donation of office and medical space by the Milan and Maureen Ilich Foundation. ARC has a dedicated team of more than 70 research scientists and staff. The foundation’s work in arthritis prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life issues is world famous and highly respected.
ARC’s scientific research has proven that arthritis affects more than just joints and, left untreated, causes early death.
ARC’s scientists have shown that proper exercise keeps arthritic joints limber and also that it can be safer for the baby when pregnant women with arthritis to take their meds than to forgo them. Arthritis affects people of all ages, even children. Today, ARC is finding more effective treatments. Tomorrow, with the the help of donors, they are aiming for a cure.
