ANAF Club 284 will be re-opening this weekend with a special celebration Saturday, and in the weeks ahead will be operating under reduced hours.
Doug Zeron, who is part of the management committee responsible for the operation of the club, told The Richmond Sentinel Wednesday that the club will open Saturday, Jan. 12 at 3:30 p.m. with a draw for a $500 cash prize.
And moving forward, it will be operating on restricted hours and days.
Based on previous sales data, Zeron said the management committee has decided to operate the club during periods that generated the most revenue.
So starting next week, the club will be open on Thursdays, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., on Fridays and Saturdays from 3 p.m. to midnight, and on Sundays, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This weekend’s grand re-opening celebration will feature a cash prize draw, with one ticket per person for the prize draw handed out between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.
Appetizers will be half price and guests will receive a free beer or wine ticket.
There will also be a meat draw and a 50/50 draw from 5 to 7:30 p.m., with the $500 prize draw taking place after the meat draw.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Cheek to Cheek, which will be performing from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.
The kitchen will be open at 5:30 p.m with a limited menu.
