Thursday, May 24 just before noon a man followed two men into a vacant house on the 12000 block of Blundell Road. They’d asked for help. Once inside the Blundell and No. 5 Road house, the man was beaten and robbed. While his injuries are minor, the suspects left him, jumped into what Richmond RCMP describe as, “An older model grey, Ford pick-up truck with trees hanging out of the back,” and drove away.

As soon as RCMP were called, they flooded into the area to look for the truck, finding one matching the description on Williams Road at No. 4 Road. The older model grey Ford pick-up crossed over into oncoming traffic and sped Northbound on No. 4 Road.It then turned East onto Francis Road and stopped. The driver ran away, jumping fences as he did.
