What can a 30-second anti-drug/anti-alcohol video win you?
For members of the high school graduating class of 2018, much more than bragging rights are up for grabs.
The winner will make local history.
The Richmond Sentinel is proud to present the inaugural 2018 High School Grad Class Video Challenge.
Grade 12 students from Hugh Boyd, Burnett, Cambie, MacNeill, McMath, McNair, McRoberts, Richmond High, Palmer and Steveston-London will be vying for the $250 prize, as well as the Grand Prize: a full page picture published on the back cover of The Richmond Sentinel.
The $250 prize is courtesy the Richmond District Parents Association.
Here’s how to enter and contest details:
• submit a 30 to 45 second video about the hazards of impaired driving or the perils of drug abuse to firstname.lastname@example.org by midnight on Tuesday, April 1, 2018
• each high school can submit up to three videos
• videos with the most likes on Facebook by noon on Friday, June 1, 2018, will be declared the winner
• The Richmond Sentinel reserves the right to reject any submission based on inappropriate content such as foul language or suggestive scenes
