An early Sunday morning shooting in South Arm that left a man in his 30s wounded, was targeted, Richmond Mounties say.
Officer responded to a report of shots fired shortly before 1 a.m. on May 27 on the 9000 block of Saunders Road, near Garden City.
Police found a Richmond man in his 30s, who is well-known to police, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and he was taken to hospital, Richmond RCMP Cpl. Dennis Hwang said.
“We are very concerned and disturbed by this recent act of violence in our community,” Hwang said. “We believe that the victim was deliberately targeted.”
