Because patrons need to enter the Steveston branch of the Richmond Public Library through the Community Centre, the branch is notifying the public of a change in their hours for the summer so that the two match each other.
Opening an hour earlier and closing an hour earlier on weekdays throughout the summer still allows as much time for the community to access our library that offers books and so much more.
Stephanie Vokey, the coordinator of marketing and public relations for the Richmond Public Library says, “From Tuesday July 3 through Sunday September 2, the Steveston branch will be open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Weekend hours remain unchanged at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.”
To allow for more family and friends time, Vokey says, all branches will (also) be closed on Monday, August 6 and Monday, September 3.”
Fall hours, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., start again after Labour Day on Tuesday, September 4.For more information on your library click here.
