Kicking off a busy summer, the Richmond Family and Caregiver Hub is presenting a series of outdoor calligraphy classes.

The sessions will be held over three Fridays—July 16, Aug. 13 and Sept. 10—from 2 to 4 p.m. They're free to attend, and all materials will be provided. While the exact location is still to be determined, rest assured there'll be adequate shade.

It's a momentous occasion for the Caregiver Hub, as it's the program's first in-person event since the pandemic began. Of course, public health guidelines will still be followed, with a limited number of participants at each session, all of whom will be physically distanced.

The workshops are designed to be as inclusive as possible. They'll be conducted in Mandarin and Cantonese, with English translation available throughout. All skill levels are welcome, even folks picking up a calligraphy brush for the first time. And while the workshops are intended for family & friend caregivers, care recipients can participate as well.
