This Saturday (Oct. 15), join local published poet and community advocate Alan Hill for a poetry workshop.

The event, which runs from 2 to 3:30 p.m., will explore and celebrate the meaning of home. Participants will learn how to structure a poem and practice poetry presentation in an intimate setting, and will walk away with valuable tips and tricks from a published poet.

Participants will draw inspiration for their writing from the current Community Art Wall display, supported by Turning Point Recovery Society and Richmond Public Art. Photos were created in response to the question: “What is important to you?”

Due to the intimate and interactive nature of this event, registration is required and spots are limited. Interested community members can register to reserve their spot at yourlibrary.bibliocommons.com/events/6334aaeb963175420011fb1b.
