Police looking for witnesses to fatal car crash

Police are seeking the public’s help as they investigate a serious motor-vehicle collision that happened Jan. 10.
A grey Toyota Tacoma pickup was entering onto Bridgeport Road from Sea Island Way when it collided with a Ford Escape that had been travelling eastbound on Bridgeport Road. Following the collision, the driver of the Ford was transported to hospital but later succumbed to injuries. The crash happened around 2:15 p.m.
At the time, the driver of the Toyota Tacoma remained on scene, and was co-operative with police.
Anyone who may have witnessed this collision or who has dash-cam video is urged to contact the Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212, quoting file number 21-855.
