Regardless if the deluges from the annual visit of the Pineapple Express let up or not, the Friends of the Richmond Library are preparing to host two special winter book sales later this month.

The Sale Must Go On! is being scheduled for Nov. 20 and 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day inside the Cambie branch at 150-11590 Cambie Rd. (near the corner of Cambie and No. 5 roads).

As always, publicity chair Pat Ng is promising some great bargains—just in time for Christmas. The sales will feature a good selection of gently used books ranging from fiction, children’s and Chinese language to many more non-fiction categories. All are individually priced.

Patrons are again being asked to bring their own bags or boxes as well as cash.

All proceeds will benefit Richmond public libraries.

With the COVID-19 pandemic still present, wearing face masks is mandatory inside the library. And physical distancing is also mandated with a distance between patrons of at least two metres (six feet) at all times. A hand sanitizer station will also be provided.
