Minoru Lakes re-open to park visitors

The City of Richmond is re-opening the Minoru Lakes following its major park renewal project in the area.
Minoru Lakes, which has long been a destination for a pleasant break or respite in the heart of Richmond will re-open to the public on Friday, June 9.
The renewal project, which began in 2022, was initiated due to issues with the lake and surrounding amenities. The redesigned area includes an updated pond, new infrastructure including a waterfall and bridges, and new park amenities including ample seating options.
You are invited to join Mayor Malcolm Brodie and members of Council for the ribbon-cutting and speeches. A tour of the site will follow.
