Pet carnival finale on Sept. 16

The final pet-themed carnival will be take place on Sept. 16, at the Lulu Island Winery. Hosted by the Vancouver International Volunteer Association, the pet-themed celebration will feature many activities for family and community members.
VIVA is a non-profit organization that serves as a local volunteer platform providing a wide range of volunteer opportunities for local and international students in the Greater Vancouver area. Their commitment to community engagement allows youth to connect with society and foster self-development. Since October 2018, the organization has organized or participated in over 1,000 events contributing to a total of over 30,000 volunteer hours to serve the community.
Activities include, but are not limited to pony riding, face painting, dance performances, pet interactions and a show for all ages. There will also be interactive activities with stamps to win prizes, pet and owner interactive contests, special booths for pet grooming, professional pet education and pet rescue services to explore.
A photo booth will also be present at the event, perfect for families to capture precious everlasting moments with their pets.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., tickets are free of admission.
