McMath girls lose two, win two at Tsumura Basketball Invitational

The McMath secondary senior girls basketball team competed at the Tsumura Basketball Invitational in Langley last week as part of the girls’ 16-team bracket. 

In their first game against the Okanagan Mission Huskies, the McMath Wildcats scored 45 points to the Huskies’ 76. Marina Radocaj was the team’s highest scorer with 17 points. 

In the team’s second game against the Yale Lions, McMath lost by just two points with a final score of 47 to 49. 

In their third game against the Fleetwood Park Dragons, McMath won by a score of 50 points to 46. 

The Wildcats also won their fourth and final game, besting the Argyle Pipers by a score of 64 to 62.
