Lace up your skates

Whether you have your own or you plan to
rent, it’s time to put on your skates at Richmond’s Winter Wonderland. The
Silver Rink at Minoru Arenas, 7551 Minoru Gate, becomes a wonderland of snow,
decorated trees, and holiday displays. With lights sparkling overhead, skaters
and those who want to try skating, can circle the displays, meeting other
families and friends in the community as festive music plays.
Appropriate for all ages, the admission is
the same price as all year as are skate rentals. For schedule dates, times and

According to City of Richmond spokesperson
Ted Townsend, “If you’re looking for even more local and active things to do in
Richmond this winter break, check out richmond.ca/winterbreak.”
Winter Wonderland starts Friday, Dec. 15 and
goes until the end of school holidays, Sunday, Jan. 7.
