Amazon cruise tops list for latest Richmond lottery winner

Lottery luck continues to smile upon Richmond residents.
Leo Sat is the latest, after he won $675,000 following the recent purchase of a Set for Life Scratch & Win ticket at the kiosk at Richmond Centre mall.
The local postal worker was sitting at home watching TV with his mom when he realized he’d won. The Scratch & Win ticket was on the kitchen table, and she was the first to notice three identical cash symbols.
“My mom said, ‘Leo, I think you won,” Sat recalled of the extraordinary evening. “I looked at the ticket and said, ‘Oh, it looks good.’”
Sat has always wanted to take a cruise down the Amazon River and that dream will become a reality once it’s safe to travel. Meanwhile, he will celebrate by taking his mom out to dinner. And he’ll also be booking a cruise to Alaska for his mom.
But he has no plans to retire anytime soon after winning the game’s top prize, though he admits it will be likely a few years earlier than expected.
“I feel very blessed and very happy,” he said.
