Update: as reported by the RCMP Feb. 21, Warcup has been located.

Richmond RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Daryl Warcup, who failed to arrive at a planned meeting on Feb. 14. Friends and family had not heard from him since earlier in the day and became concerned for his well-being.

Warcup was last seen in the vicinity of Cambie Plaza, in the 11700 block of Cambie Road, at 9 a.m. on Sunday. He may also have been in the 4600 block of Vanguard Road around 12:15 p.m. that afternoon, but this has not yet been confirmed, police said.

Police are asking anyone who may have been driving in these two areas to check their dashcam video which may help to determine his whereabouts.

Warcup is described as a 34-year-old Caucasian man, five-foot-nine and weighing about 190 pounds. He has short brown hair and green eyes.

Warcup is believed to be wearing a black hoodie-style jacket, Converse runners and has a black backpack.

Warcup does not drive, so there is no known vehicle associated with him.

Anyone with information about Warcup’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212, or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477 or www.solvecrime.ca, quoting file number 2021-4234.
