Life doesn’t get much better than sitting under a shaded tree, amidst the summer sun, with a good book in hand.
Friends of the Richmond Library can help make that a reality, with another long-awaited book sale on June 19.
Lovers of the literary arts will be be able to select from a fabulous selection of gently-used hardcover adult fiction, children’s, Chinese, and cookbooks—all promised to be priced low.
The sale, with all proceeds going to support Richmond public libraries, is weather dependent and scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the Cambie library branch near the corner of Cambie and No. 5 roads.
Patrons are asked to bring their own bags or boxes. All sales will be cash only.
As well, due to COVID-19, face mask coverings and physical distancing (at least two metres; six feet) will be mandatory. Hand sanitizer will be supplied at the station.
