Richmond seeks public guidance for arts strategy
Richmond wants to hear from you.
For the next 10 days—through Friday, May 31—the city is seeking public feedback via email atculture@richmond.caon its proposed Richmond Arts Strategy for the next five years.
The draft is the result of months of community consultation, during which a project team gathered input via an online survey, a series of community dialogue events and more than 30 pop-up kiosks and sounding boards across the city. In addition to receiving more than 470 complete surveys, in both English and Chinese, about 500 more comments were received.
The Richmond Arts Strategyis a guide for residents, the city and stakeholders to develop stronger arts connections. The intent is to advance the policies, programs and services needed for the arts to thrive.
