Music at the Cannery
Who: Halifax Wharf Rats (Celtic and
East-coast Maritime music).
What: Live music performances happening every
Friday night this summer.
When: Friday, July 19. Ticket sales start at
5:30 p.m. Show starts at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Gulf of Georgia Cannery National

Price: $5 for youth (2-17) & $7 for
adults

McFadden/Poirier Home Burger & Beverage Fundraiser (Ride to Conquer Cancer)
Who: Amy Poirier, Debbie McFadden & Garth
McFadden
What: Fundraiser where the aforementioned
will ride 200 kilometres to conquer cancer. Attendees and their friends can
enjoy a 50/50 toss, silent auction (you can donate as well), and a toonie toss.
All proceeds will be going to the BC Cancer Foundation.

Summer Picnic at South Arm Community Centre

Midsummer Members Rooftop Mixer
Who: Richmond Art Gallery Association
What: Summer sunset celebration at the
Richmond Cultural Centre (held in the rooftop garden). Cocktails, a silent
auction, finger food, and a performance by Kendall Gender, winner of Vancouver’s
Next Drag Superstar 2017, and one drink ticket all included in the ticket
price. All proceeds go to support RAGA education and outreach programs.

Garden Workshop
Who: Richmond Food Security Society
What: Workshop that teaches attendees how to
successfully manage vegetables, weeds and insects with companion plants.
Succession planting is also taught to help attendees grow more and for longer.

Sing & Play in the Park
Who: Richmond Family Place
What: Gathering at the park for parents and
children under the age of five where they can make friends, discuss various
topics, and learn songs and rhymes.
