What: A fundraiser that supports Team
#FugCancer in the Ride to Conquer Cancer bike ride on Aug. 24 and 25. A ticket
gets you a Nando’s BBQ lunch, a beer and a pair of swings at the FugCancer car.
There will also be raffle tickets with prizes and a contest to win one of two
new bikes.

4th Annual Bodhi Meditation Day

What: A family-oriented fair that focuses on
community, happiness, compassion, environmental awareness and health. The event
includes food trucks, live performances, a buy and sell market, healthy living
seminars, meditation, a photo booth and more.

Women’s National Team Red & White Match
Who: Women’s National Volleyball Team
What: The Canadian senior team’s last match
before they leave for Kaliningrad, Russia for their International Olympic
Qualifying Tournament at the end of July. This inter-squad Red and White Match
and BBQ is the team’s send-off party that will be followed with a meet and
greet. The barbecue will include a beer garden provided by Fuggles &
Warlock Craftworks. There will be on-court audience contests and trivia being
played to win Team Canada swag (signed balls, clothing, and more), and door
raffle prizes.
When: Friday, July 26. Pre-Match barbecue is
at 5:30 p.m. The match starts at 7 p.m. The entire event runs from 5:30 to 10
p.m.

Price: Youth match pass is $5, youth barbecue
