Shoppers this weekend can enjoy a show along with their retail therapy.
In partnership with the Chali Rosso Gallery, the Vancouver Opera will perform at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport on Sunday (April 3) from 1 to 3 p.m.
“Arts and culture is of utmost importance to us at McArthurGlen and we’re delighted to welcome these young artists from the Vancouver Opera community to bring their craft to life,” says the mall’s general manager Robert Thurlow.
Performances will include some of opera's most famous duets, arias, trios, and quartets from famous works like The Magic Flute and Madama Butterfly.
“At Vancouver Opera, we offer performance oriented training with industry leaders so our performers can showcase their unique talent to the masses. We’re so excited to be back in the community, doing what we love,” says Vancouver Opera general director Tom Wright.
