Celebrate the opening of Tait Riverfront Community Park

The city invites everyone to celebrate the official opening of Richmond’s newest park, Tait Riverfront Community Park, on Aug. 30 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
This free, family-friendly celebration will include music, face painting, and caricature artist drawings as well as city-led recreation activities and other fun activities.
A ribbon-cutting by Mayor Malcolm Brodie and city councillors will take place at 5:30 p.m. to officially open the park.
This new waterfront park in the growing Bridgeport neighbourhood offers many features designed to engage park users including a basketball court, playground, and skateboard park elements.
Tait Riverfront Community Park is located at 10255 River Dr.
