As part of its annual Employee Giving Campaign, Ledcor Group inspires its employees to give generously to a variety of charities including Richmond Hospital Foundation.

In 2022, employee contributions through pledges and fundraising activities were matched dollar for dollar by Ledcor, resulting in its total matching donation of over $10,000. The donation is in support of the Medical Imaging Centre Campaign to help ensure state-of-the-art medical imaging technologies for Richmond Hospital.

“Our Ledcor Cares spirit is engrained in our company culture,” says Farran Hobbs, senior vice-president of services and operations at Ledcor Technical Services. “We have a strong desire to assist others in need and help move our communities forward by coming together for organizations like Richmond Hospital Foundation.”

Over the past 10 years, Ledcor and its employees have invested over $24 million to more than 200 charities across North America, as well as supported communities through various professional development, sustainability, and research initiatives. Ledcor has been an active supporter of Richmond Hospital Foundation since 2013 as a sponsor of the foundation’s annual golf tournament.

Richmond Hospital Foundation is raising $20 million for its Medical Imaging Centre Campaign. Funds raised will support the latest medical imaging technologies in the future Milan and Maureen Ilich Medical Imaging Centre that will be at the heart of the new Yurkovich Family Pavilion at Richmond Hospital. Medical imaging is critical for diagnosing, tracking, and monitoring medical conditions.

“We are so grateful for the generous contribution from Ledcor and (its) employees to help fund excellence and innovative technologies in the future medical imaging centre,” says Natalie Meixner, president and chief executive officer at Richmond Hospital Foundation. “Medical imaging is fundamental for physicians and surgeons and is vital in ensuring the best patient care.”
