Airport warns of screening delay

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is advising passengers of delays today in pre-board screening, resulting in increased time required for passengers to be processed through the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) screening checkpoints.
Travel time to the airport has also been impacted due to road conditions across the region following the snowfall yesterday. Passengers are asked to plan ahead and arrive early. Passengers are also encouraged to check the status of their flight on their airline’s website or the flight information on yvr.ca before coming to the airport.
The airport has mobilized additional resources and staff continue to work to get travellers on their way as quickly and efficiently as possible.
