Civic services in Richmond will be closed from Friday through Monday for the Easter long weekend. This includes the registration call centre.

These services will resume at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday. However, public access to city hall buildings and the Works Yard will remain closed as part of the city’s COVID-19 prevention measures.

Many services can be accessed through the city’s website: www.richmond.ca. These online services include a variety of transactions, interactive tools and data searches. Most information, bulletins, forms and flyers are also available on the website.

For emergencies like broken water mains, sewer problems, downed trees on roads, traffic lights out or other similar problems, call the city’s 24 hour emergency line at 604-270-8721. You can also stay updated by following the city on TwitterFacebook and Instagram.

The city encourages people to do their part in preventing the spread of COVID-19. As many of us plan for the long weekend, please remember to avoid all non-essential travel and gatherings, both indoors and outdoors. If you plan to enjoy the outdoors, you must maintain at least a two‑metre distance from others.
