The community’s oldest non-profit music school is getting a boost.

Richmond Music School recently received a Community Gaming Grant from the Province of British Columbia for $45,000. The grants support eligible non-profit organizations that deliver community programs benefitting citizens.

Dedicated to teaching music at high standards in both private and class settings, Richmond Music School is respected throughout Greater Vancouver for its many student performances and innovative programs. It currently has a student enrolment of more than 350.

Under the guidance of principal Patricia Rolston, Richmond Music School is proud to have been part of the community since 1980. It not only serves as a music school teaching music theory and musical instruments, but also provides a learning environment for students to be immersed in the world of music.
