The Richmond Christmas Fund is making a final request for auction items for this year’s A Not So Isolated Night fundraiser.

It is through the support of hundreds of volunteers and donors that the annual Richmond Christmas Fund ensures neighbours in need can share in the holiday spirit. Grocery vouchers, toys, books and gift cards are distributed to families and individuals who can’t afford it. As well, the fund assists children and seniors, single parents and refugees, those who have lost a job, and those who lost everything. In all, some 3,000 of Richmond’s most vulnerable residents are helped.

In 2020, your support is needed more than ever. As a result of COVID-19, countless families are facing unexpected and unprecedented financial hardship. The Christmas Fund will be there for them, but can’t do it alone. The pandemic has already forced the cancelling or scaling back of many regular fundraisers.

A first-ever online auction, A Not So Isolated Night, is being planned for late November and will be open to the public. Donated items will make a significant difference.
