It may be hard to keep children and youth away from each other and their shared surfaces. But, to make things safer and to help lower the spread of COVID-19, the Government of Canada suggests:

• Guiding children and youth to have less person-to-person contact with others.

• Teaching children how to spot COVID-19 symptoms and to tell parents/guardians/teachers right away if they have them.

• Putting up signs everywhere that list the symptoms and keep children at home when they are sick.

• Reminding everyone to wash their hands often and avoid touching their face.
