When you go outside to parks, trails, dog parks, playgrounds and recreational spaces, it’s important to take precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Government of Canada advises people to play only low-contact recreational sports where it is possible to keep a two metre distance from other players. It also advises that people:
• avoid large groups or crowds at lookout points on trails and other similar places
• carry water bottles and not use public drinking fountains
• wash or sanitize hands after touching surfaces like park benches, public washrooms and playground equipment
