Police investigating weekend stabbing

Richmond RCMP is investigating a stabbing that occurred over the weekend in the city’s downtown core.
Around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 1), police responded to a stabbing in the 6000 block of No. 3 Road. The victim was allegedly involved in an altercation with several suspects during which he was stabbed. Prior to police attending, the suspects fled the area in a dark coloured SUV.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital with multiple stab wounds, but has since been released from hospital.
This incident is believed to be targeted. Richmond RCMP serious crime unit have conduct of the investigation.
