UPDATE: As reported Sept. 8, Siga has been located. An RCMP release notes that he has since been treated in hospital for personal ailments, and no foul play is suspected at this time.

Richmond RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating Jonathan Pendon Siga, who was reported missing on Sept. 1.

Siga was last seen on Aug. 30. He is described as a 42-year-old Asian man, five-foot-seven and around 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black shorts and a black bag.

Police are very concerned for Siga’s health and well-being and friends and family report that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long.

Anyone with information on Siga’s whereabouts is urged to contact their local police, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
