Library unveils annual book lists

With 2021 coming to a close, the Richmond Public Library is again looking back on its most popular reads of the year.

The top circulating book of the year was Come Over to My House by Dr. Seuss.

The library also compiles five adult “Top Five” lists: print fiction, ebook fiction, print non-fiction, ebook non-fiction and biographies. In a year again headlined by the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Bonnie Henry’s biography Be Kind, Be Calm, Be Safe made the list in that category.

Lists for teens and kids are separated by print and ebook titles. There’s also an overall list of the top five audiobooks.

The library provides digital book lists so readers with library cards can place holds on books directly from the digital lists. For links to the lists, see below:
