The City of Richmond has a new Parks, Recreation and Culture program registration system that offers customers a more efficient experience for program registration, drop-in admissions, facility bookings, memberships and point of sale transactions.

“The new system will keep Richmond at the forefront of service delivery standards by offering a robust, customer-friendly registration solution for programs and services,” said Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie. “With 160,000 active Parks, Recreation and Culture customers, this transition supports the city’s commitment to improving the customer service experience and fostering an active and thriving community”

The new system, which launched on Nov. 6, is accessed using the city’s existing single sign-on service, www.richmond.ca/myrichmond, which gives customers secure access to a variety of services using a single e-mail address and password. As part of the transition to this new registration system, existing Parks, Recreation and Culture customers should check for an email from the city (reghelp@richmond.ca) sent on Wednesday, Nov. 6 with information on how to activate their new account and instructions on next steps to ensure they are ready for registration for the upcoming winter season. With Winter 2020 online program registration starting the night of Tuesday, Dec. 3, all customers are encouraged to log in and try the new system as soon as possible.

If you did not receive an email on Wednesday, Nov. 6, contact the Registration Call Centre at 604-276-4300 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) or drop in to a recreation facility during regular operating hours and staff will be happy to help set up your account.
