A special council meeting has been called for Monday.

At the meeting, council will consider the final adoption of bylaws that extend this year’s flat rate utility due date to the end of June.

Council will also consider the final adoption of another bylaw that will allow council members to participate electronically in council meetings for public hearings and standing committees.

The agenda for the newly-called meeting will be posted to the city’s website by March 27.

Physical distancing guidelines will be respected in order to adhere to preventative measures that hope to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The meeting will take place March 30 at 4 p.m. in the Anderson room at city hall.
