The COVID-19 situation in British Columbia is continually evolving and the information below is current as of 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.


Cases:

  • Total confirmed cases in BC: 1,291
  • New cases since April 6, 2020: 25
  • Hospitalized cases: 138
  • Intensive care: 66
  • COVID-19 related deaths: 43
  • Recovered: 805
  • Long-term care and assisted living homes currently affected: 21


Confirmed cases by region:

  • Vancouver Coastal Health: 603
  • Fraser Health: 458
  • Island Health: 79
  • Interior Health: 128
  • Northern Health: 23
