Tourism Richmond is hoping to learn how comfortable people are with restarting local and provincial tourism.
Their new survey (accessible here) aims to learn how Richmond residents feel about welcoming visitors back to the city. Similar surveys will be released at least twice a month to collect data on how people feel about welcoming those from neighbouring communities versus those from further away in BC.
And separate questions for non-Richmond residents will gauge the likelihood of those people coming for a visit to help boost local economic recovery.
“As we gather more information, we’ll have a better sense of how people are feeling about welcoming visitors back, which will be used to inform our marketing tactics going forward,” says communications manager Lesley Chang.
The first survey closes on Monday night. More information will be available after responses have been collected.
