Visitors and Richmond-dwellers alike can take in the outstanding photographic art in our city hall’s Galleria from March 6 until April 23. The show, entitled separatum imaginibus, which translates to “separate pictures,” curated by Paula Booker and Jean-Francois Cleroux, offers a varied and intriguing array of images. The nine art prints on display come from nine different accomplished photographers, all members of the photography group called tabulaRASA. The artists’ collective meets regularly to share their work, their art, and their passions with an open mind towards the arts and creativity.

The artists and their works in this display include: Gerry Boretta, Jean-Francois Cleroux, Francis Dorsemaine, Valerie Hider, Matthew King, Larry Leslie, John Ostaf, George Pierce and Sharon Wright.

Boretta's work is vibrant abstractions while Cleroux’s Eiffel Watching is more moody, while Dorsemaine’s detailed The Slough, is closer to home.

The City Hall Galleria is co-ordinated by the Richmond Art Gallery staff and is located on the third floor of Richmond City Hall, 6911 No. 3 Road. Viewing hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Show continues until April 23. Admission is free.
