Childcare programs resume for students

Richmond is resuming out-of-school care programs this week. Preschools are set to reopen Sept. 21.
Programs are designed to adhere to provincial and local health guidelines, and can be adjusted as requirements change. Activities will take place in a mixed indoor and outdoor setting, prioritizing outdoor activities where possible.
Participants will be divided into smaller learning groups when there are opportunities to do so. Cleaning protocols have been enhanced and program staff are trained in COVID-19 health and safety strategies.
